Bull Lake activities include outstanding fishing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, hiking and mountain biking in the summer, hunting in the fall and ice-fishing, snowmobiling, snow-shoeing, and cross-country skiing at Ross Creek Cedars in the winter. Schweitzer Mountain offers world-class downhill skiing 74 miles away. If you prefer the local's steep and deep favorite, Turner Mountain Ski area is a 27 mile drive. Kootenai Falls is a must-see 18 miles away. Walk half a block to the Halfway House Bar and Grill for dinner and a drink. The Lake Lodge house offers 4 cozy bedrooms: on the main floor 1 with a Queen bed and1 with 2 twin beds, on the 2nd floor a queen bed in the Loft overlooking the lake,  and 1 with 1 twin bed. The bedrooms and great room are themed for our abundant Montana wildlife.  The new Lake Lodge owners are Lynn, a Montana native from Helena and Don, a veteran Army Ranger from Iowa who love spending time in our great Montana outdoors and live a short drive Southeast of Bull Lake.
